Minnetrista, Minnesota – A tragic motorcycle accident has claimed the life of 24-year-old Johnathan David Hommer from Lester Prairie. The collision occurred late Friday night as Hommer entered County Road 77 from Highway 7 and struck an SUV shortly before 11 p.m.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Hommer was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but alcohol was involved. He suffered fatal blunt-force injuries, and the manner of death has been ruled an accident. Thankfully, the driver and passenger of the SUV were unharmed, with alcohol not being a factor for them.
