Kenosha, WI – Ronald "Ron" J. Hornby, a cherished member of the Kenosha community, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.
He was 65 years old.
Born on February 27, 1959, in Kenosha, Ron was the son of Robert R. and Alice (Schmidt) Hornby.
He spent his life bringing joy to others, known for his friendly smile, baked goods, and love of Lindt truffles.
His unexpected passing has left the community and his loved ones heartbroken.
Social media was flooded with condolences as friends and neighbors remembered Ron’s kind spirit.
Rachael Proko-Viola shared, “Ron, you truly had a heart of gold; you could make anyone smile on their worst day.”
