Goshen, IN — Raquel Cedeño has sadly passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer, leaving behind her daughter, Joselyn, and two sons, Jonathon and Omar. Raquel had previously beaten cancer in 2022, but the disease returned in March 2024, leading to her tragic passing.
Her niece, Daisy Cedeno, has organized a fundraiser to support Raquel’s children during this difficult time. The family is planning to lay Raquel to rest in Mexico, and the fundraiser aims to raise $15,000 to cover funeral and burial costs. As of now, $210 has been raised from eight donations.
Daisy expressed her gratitude for any contributions, stating, "If you are not able to donate, please keep them in your prayers."
Among the donors, Christian Lozoya contributed $50, followed by James and Efren Garcia with donations of $25 and $20 respectively. Emily Santos also gave $50, with others showing their support anonymously.
The family is seeking help from the community to give Raquel a proper burial and ensure her children are cared for during this challenging time. Those wishing to assist can contribute to the fundraiser or offer their prayers for the grieving family.
