Panayides Savvas, a cherished member of the Greek Orthodox community and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, has passed away at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He died on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
The family shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, stating, "We say goodbye to the best Husband, Father and Grandfather anyone could have asked for! Together we made many wonderful memories that will last forever. We will carry his memory with us, which will bring some comfort. We will never forget, it’s impossible. We will love you forever."
The funeral services for Panayides Savvas will be held at St. John Greek Orthodox Church, located at 1385 Warden Avenue, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The visitation will take place from 10 am to 11 am, followed by the funeral service at 11 am. Interment will be at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens in Ajax, Ontario, in the Forest View section.
