Chesterhill, Ohio – Marsha K. Mayle Kaltenbach, 65, of Chesterhill, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2024, at her daughter’s residence. Born on October 15, 1958, in Chesterhill, she was the daughter of the late Marion “Henry” and Norma Mayle.
Marsha was a devoted mother and grandmother who took immense pride in her family. She is survived by her son, Shawn Kaltenbach of Chesterhill, and her daughter, Keshia (Terry) Humphrey of Malta. Marsha leaves behind five beloved grandchildren: Ben, William, Ragen, Raelynn, and Trinity. Her family was her greatest source of joy, and she dedicated her life to supporting and nurturing them.
Marsha also shared a special bond with her sisters, Bev Willett of Stockport and Vicki Mayle of Zanesville. They created countless cherished memories together, always offering support through life’s challenges.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Kaltenbach; her son, Arthur Mayle; her brother, Mickey Mayle; and five sisters: Bonnie Mayle, Dora Scott, Hilda Harris, Marilyn Mayle, and Joy Drummond. These losses shaped Marsha’s resilience and compassion, which she extended to her relationships with others.
A celebration of Marsha’s life will be held at 12 noon on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Burial will follow in Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visit the family an hour before the service to share memories and offer their condolences.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to help cover final expenses, a testament to Marsha’s enduring values of love, support, and care for family in times of need.
