Alvordton, OH — Logan “Don” Ries, a resident of Alvordton and an employee at 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the age of 25. Logan was born on April 29, 1999, in Danville, Illinois, to Charles R. and Shannon L. (Williams) Ries.
Logan completed his education at Montpelier High School and Four County Career Center, specializing in diesel mechanics. He was currently employed by 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics in Holiday City. Known for his love of family, Logan was particularly fond of the holiday season and was an avid supporter of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed spending time shooting with his uncle Jon and cousins, and cherishing moments with his family and friends over a cold beer.
He is survived by his parents, his fiancé Kaitlyn Truax, and his two daughters, Morgan Grace and his unborn baby girl. He is also remembered by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and numerous other family members and friends who were touched by his presence.
Logan’s passing has left a profound impact on his community. Pizza Bobs shared on Facebook, “Unfortunately we had a death in the family. Our hours will be different October 2nd and 3rd while we spend time with family. We ask for extra prayers for Logan’s parents, children, and fiancée as they grieve.”
