North Fort Worth, Texas – Ed Kirk, a beloved and dedicated member of the Fellowship of the Parks (FOTP) church, passed away recently, leaving behind a profound impact on his community and church family.
His passing was announced on social media by Senior Pastor Doug Walker, who expressed both sorrow and immense gratitude for Kirk’s service and friendship.
Pastor Walker shared, “Words cannot express my gratitude for this incredible man, for his friendship, what he’s meant to my family and our church. Had it not been for Ed Kirk and his sacrificial service, FOTP might not exist today. I love him, miss him, and am forever grateful. We will see him again! Pray for Nancy and their family.”
Ed Kirk was known for his unwavering commitment to FOTP, playing numerous roles within the church and contributing greatly to its growth and success.
He was remembered by many for his kindness, humility, and dedication to his faith.
A service to honor Ed Kirk’s life will be held on Sunday at the Fellowship of the Parks North Fort Worth campus, located at 9900 N. Beach St.
The viewing will take place at 3:00 PM, with the funeral service following at 4:00 PM in the north auditorium.
Many members of the church and community shared their memories of Kirk on social media, reflecting the deep loss felt by those who knew him.
