Moses Lake, WA – Consuelo Garcia, a devoted mother and grandmother, tragically passed away on October 5, 2024, after a courageous nine-year fight with cancer.
Her passing has left family members, friends, and the local community deeply saddened.
Consuelo was first diagnosed with lymphoma in 2016, and her battle intensified in 2017 when a brain tumor was discovered.
Despite facing numerous health challenges, she remained hopeful and resilient, overcoming several setbacks before her health declined again in 2022.
Her family has described her as a warrior, known for her strength and optimism throughout her difficult journey.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Hortencia Ramos-Lopez shared, “We tragically lost my mother in law yesterday after a long fight with cancer. Please share. Anything helps. God bless.”
Consuelo Garcia leaves behind her loving husband, three children, and seven grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and the joy she brought to their lives.
Friends and family have started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses.
Her spirit and legacy will live on through her loved ones.
