Claudia Gagliano Passes Away at 73 in Harahan, Louisiana, Leaving Family and Friends Mourning

Harahan, Louisiana – Claudia Gagliano, a resident of St. Joseph Care facility in Harahan, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024. She was 73 years old. Claudia’s passing has left her family and friends deeply saddened as they come together to remember and honor her life.

Robert Byers, a family member, shared on Facebook, "Friends and family, as you may know, Jen’s mother passed away this past weekend. Unfortunately, Claudia had not prepared for her passing, and now the process for arrangements has fallen on Jen’s shoulders. We ask for your consideration to help assist with this process that Jen has to take on solely. May God bless each and every one of you that reads this and keeps her and her family in your prayers."

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized by Robert Byers to help cover the funeral expenses for Claudia Gagliano. The fundraiser, titled "Help Cover Funeral Expenses for Claudia Gagliano," has so far raised $240 of its $1,500 goal through four donations. Contributions include $50 from Alberta Bradshaw, $40 from Elizabeth Neal, $50 from Morgan Boyd, and $100 from Jacob Byers.

Jacob Byers expressed his condolences, commenting, "Love you guys, so sorry for the loss. Keeping you all in prayers." Similarly, Morgan Rowell Boyd wrote, "Praying for Jen & the rest of your family during this time." Other well-wishers like Elizabeth Koperdak and Angie Conway also offered their prayers and support to Jen and her family during this difficult time.

Claudia’s daughter, Jen, had spent numerous days traveling back and forth to New Orleans to visit and pray with her mother as her health declined. The family hopes that the support they receive will help ease Jen’s burden and provide some peace during this challenging period.

The community is encouraged to continue supporting the family in any way possible. Donations to the fundraiser can be made to help cover the expenses and honor Claudia’s memory.
