Monett, Missouri – The community of New Site Baptist Church is mourning the loss of longtime member Bob Carder, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 78.
His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Bob was a cherished husband to Carolyn, father to Bobby Carder (Shawn) and Tracy Gold (Larry), and a dedicated servant of his church and community.
Known for his warmth, kindness, and sense of humor, Bob was a familiar and welcoming face at New Site Baptist Church, where he often served as a greeter.
His legacy of compassion and service has touched many lives, and his absence will be felt deeply by the congregation.
Visitation for Bob Carder will take place on Sunday, September 29, from 3 to 5 p.m. at New Site Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30, at 10 a.m. at the same location.
Friends and family are encouraged to join in offering prayers for the Carder family during this difficult time.
“Bob was a great man, always ready with a smile,” shared Karen York.
“He had a great sense of humor and will be missed until we see him again in Heaven.”
Betty Embrey added, “Bob has done so much good in his life, a special door greeter at church and so friendly to everyone. He was one of the best.”
