Angus Graham Andrews III, Lifelong Walton County Resident, Dies at 33 in Pensacola

Pensacola, Florida – Angus Graham Andrews III, a lifelong resident of Walton County, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the age of 33. Born on May 22, 1991, in Pensacola, Florida, Graham was known for his strong work ethic, love of the outdoors, and his devotion to his family and community.

Graham graduated from Walton High School in 2009 and later attended Tallahassee State College. He worked on his family’s farm, The Piney Woods, where he cared for the livestock and engaged in activities like hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a dedicated member of the First Presbyterian Church in DeFuniak Springs and was beloved for his friendly and curious nature. Above all, he cherished his role as a father to his daughter, Elizabeth.

He is survived by his parents, Angus "Gus" Andrews, Jr. and Donna Andrews, his wife, Kendall Moore Andrews, his daughter, Elizabeth, and other close family members, including his brother Luke Andrews and sister Laura Andrews. Graham was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Angus G. Andrews, Sr. and Joyce S. Andrews, and his mother-in-law, Susan Gibson Moore.

A visitation service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in DeFuniak Springs on Wednesday, September 25, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Reverend Catherine Mooney and Reverend Brad Goode will officiate, with burial at Magnolia Cemetery.

Friends and family shared heartfelt messages online to remember Graham and his impact on their lives. Thomas Anderson posted, “Gonna sure miss my buddy, but will always cherish the times we had and the impact you had on my life.” Jesse Barfield added, “Man, did we have some fun times.” Others, including Tammy Newton, Emma McKean, and Belle Murphy, offered their condolences, with Belle Murphy writing, “We are so sorry for your loss. Sending thoughts and prayers.”

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance in Graham’s memory.
